Our Bed and Breakfast Al Palmento Cruillas represents a unique experience for our guests, as it is located inside an ancient palmento that belonged to the noble family of Francica Nava, built back in 1812 and surrounded by nature.

This place is perfect for those who want to spend a vacation of tranquility, relaxation and comfort.

Ear of Dionysus

The Ear of Dionysius is an artificial cave located in the ancient stone quarry known as the Latomia del Paradiso, below the Greek Theater of Syracuse. Excavated in the limestone, it is about 23 m high, 5 to 11 m wide, and runs 65 m deep in an S-shaped pattern that also makes it a place for acoustic amplification of sounds.

We had a fantastic holiday at Palmiento Cruillas. The facility is beautiful, equipped with all amenities, spacious and very clean rooms. The property features a large garden with a pool and a beautiful view. The highlight is the kindness of the owners who do their best to accommodate the guests. We will definitely come back.

I stayed at this property for 5 days with my children and our two little cats. We immediately felt at ease and were greeted with extreme courtesy and availability. Maria Cristina and her father made themselves available for every need, making our stay very enjoyable. The room was very clean and the breakfast was rich and varied. We will definitely be happy to stay here again next time we are in the Syracuse area.

We were very pleased with the welcome and the small refreshment in the welcome room, as well as with Mariacristina's suggestions for visiting Syracuse and its surroundings. The breakfast was stellar, the rooms were very clean, and the place is wonderful with parking.

Stayed only two days, unfortunately, but I can say I was comfortable, conveniently located near the center and transportation routes, yet away from the hustle and bustle in a quiet area. Friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend it for those who want to visit Syracuse and the beaches nearby!
